Express Wear to Work

I spent the morning running around Indy – getting caught up on work, taking meetings, answering emails, and trying to keep our move into the new home MOVING. Working from home, I can sometimes get in a rut where all I want to do is answer emails from the comfort of bed and in my pajamas, answering the door for all the house appointments throughout the day in slippers, and hardly leave the house at all but to walk the dogs. Typically, those are my least productive days. I’ve been noticing recently the importance of getting up early, getting yourself “work” ready, and seizing the day. Its integral to my role as a fashion blogger and totally sets the stage for the day when I have an outfit that makes me feel empowered, chic, and ready to take on whatever the day brings my way.
The days where I have the opportunity to jump from shoots, to a work meeting, to events, and back home all in one day – those are my favorite days. So even though I technically work from home – I don’t do THAT much work from home, and my work attire needs to take me from the coffee shop, to the grand opening event for a new pop up, and from work meetings to happy hour. Express has ALWAYS been the go-to for work wear, chic silhouettes, the perfect power suit, and feminine pieces that allow each woman’s style to shine through.
I love that I can go to Express and find the perfect blouse or button down or trench coat and pair it with my favorite jeans for a modern twist on business casual. They also have THEE best boots and booties each year, and these grey suede ones I found are perfect for every occasion. I can mix and match and re-work their pants and tops in unlimited combinations and always feel like I am pulled together and sophisticated while being ahead of the fashion curve. Check out what’s available at Express NOW, they have so many great styles and use my coupon too!
