Lets be real. Wedding season is upon us and as much fun as they are — I think we can all agree — they are EXPENSIVE. For several years now, my husband and I have been averaging about 5 weddings per year – give or take. Thats 5+ occasions to get dressed up, show out, and blow money. Insert NastyGal and how I plan to ball on a budget this summer.
As fun as being in a wedding is – I am somewhat relieved to announce I’ll be enjoying wedding season as a distant bystander this summer – aka as a wedding guest. No more, no less. It’s here that I plan on thoroughly enjoying the fashion, the fun, and the cutting-a-rug part.
It’s a little daunting to have complete and total control over my dress selections this upcoming wedding season! But with multiple events, weddings, and trips on the calendar this summer, it was time I found a good spot to pick up one-of-a-kind duds that won’t break the bank. The hotels, drinks, airplane tickets etc. will take care of the other part. I even considered re-wearing one of my bridesmaid dresses and being a good little fashionista with a tiny carbon footprint…but then I found NastyGal.
And I found the MOST stunning dress there – perfect with beading, embroidery, and slits as high or as low as you want them opened. Its basically the best dress for any formal event, dinner, or wedding this summer – amazing to dance in, and will most likely be the dress that gets you thee most compliments. This dress looks and feels like its $500 or more. No joke, the detail is insane! Its available for less than $200, and would be such a showstopper as guest of a wedding dress OR bridesmaid dresses. If you haven’t taken the plunge in the Nastygal pool, please do so immediately. I cannot get over the pricing on EVERYTHING. I am wearing head-to-toe Nastygal here and sunnies were $9, shoes were $36, and handbag was only $22! OKUR!! This look will be repeated on me FO SHO so if you get sick of it, remember you’ve been warned.
